The 16:9 wide screen format is common to todays flat panel displays. JVC digital video cameras are equipped with 2.7-inch 16:9 LCD monitors. Our wide mode will maintain a high picture quality, plus give you a more realistic visual due to the extended field of vision.

Stick Control for Easy Operation
Easy access to a multitude of functions is possible with the 4-way one-finger control on the LCD door. Simply press the four compass points on the circular control to navigate menu items and manual feature settings during recording and playback.

Auto LCD Backlight Control
The brightness of the LCD backlight is adjusted automatically for easy viewing, even when outdoors on a sunny day.

Dual Recording Capability Video Recording + Digital Still Recording
Why decide between recording digital stills or video? Our dual recording mode allows you to record both at the same time. The digital still function records and stores (up to 640 x 480-pixel resolution) images on an SD/SDHC memory card. The supplied software allows you to edit and organize your digital stills on a PC.

Live Slow
This feature is extremely useful for playing back precious or hard-to-see moments at a slow speed. Slow motion images are recorded with sound on a DVC tape. The images are played back with the slow motion effect while the sound is at normal speed.

120-min. Data Battery
This slim and powerful long life battery allows you to record precious moments with peace of mind. By simply touching the DATA button, the remaining battery and recording time can be easily viewed, even when the power is turned off. This allows you to check the remaining power for the battery and recording time before recording, so you can prevent the battery from running out during recording.

Multi-Language On-Screen
With the multi-language option for menu settings and camera operations, you can operate the camera in the language of your choice.

NightAlive
NightAlive aids to record in low light situations in full color with no distance limitations for bright results. NightAlive will work in both still and video modes.

3-Dimension Noise Reduction (3D NR)
3D NR automatically provides a more accurate noise reduction. This is based on twice the visual information than conventional fieldbased types. The video noise is reduced by 30% in low light for a 2dB improvement in the signal-to-noise ratio. End result, you get a bright picture with less noise, even in low light.

Built-in Auto Illumi. Light
Makes your subject brighter in low light situations by using an energy efficient LED to reduce battery drain. The camera will automatically turn off the light in bright environments to conserve battery power.
